Celebrating Four Years of Excellence: Justine Martin’s Journey at Pet Butler

As we mark the four-year anniversary of Justine Martin’s tenure at Pet Butler, it’s time to reflect on her journey and the significant contributions she has made to our franchise based in Plainfield, Illinois.

Justine joined us as an Assistant Manager for our company owned franchise in Chicago, specializing in Pet Care. Her dedication and passion for pet care were evident from the start, and she quickly became an integral part of our team. Her expertise in pet care, combined with her managerial skills, made her a valuable asset to our organization.

In August, Justine showcased her knowledge and skills at our National Training Conference, where she conducted a highly reviewed 5-star session on Best Practices in Recruiting, Hiring, and Staffing. Her insights and strategies were well-received by our Pet Butler franchisees, further establishing her as a thought leader within the pet care industry.

Recently, Justine transitioned into the role of Operations Program Manager, a position that allows her to leverage her skills and management experience to benefit our operations department. In this role, Justine focuses on three main areas:

  1. Project Management: Justine’s role as a Project Manager for the Operations Department involves overseeing various projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively. Her keen eye for detail and organizational skills make her an excellent project manager. She coordinates with different teams, sets project goals, and ensures that these goals are met within the set timelines.
  2. Call Center Oversight: In her role overseeing our National Call Center, Justine assists with the day-to-day operational questions from customers and KPI tracking. Her ability to manage and motivate our call center team has led to improved performance and greater customer satisfaction. She ensures that the call center operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting our franchisee and resolving any issues that may arise, while implementing strategies to improve service quality.
  3. Operations Support: Justine’s role in Operations Support involves everything from improving operational functions to process and procedure development. Her innovative ideas and solutions have significantly enhanced our operational efficiency. She works closely with the operations team to identify areas of improvement, develop new business procedures, and implement these changes effectively.


Now, let’s take a moment to reflect on the Pet Butler franchise opportunity. The company was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1988, began franchising in 2005 and was acquired by Spring Green Enterprises in 2017. Since then, Pet Butler’s line of services has expanded from pet waste removal to pet care, including dog walking, pet sitting and pet shuttle. Today, Pet Butler is recognized as a top low-cost pet industry franchise with franchise locations across the United States.

Over the past four years, Justine has proven herself to be a dedicated and valuable member of the Pet Butler team. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with her passion for pet care, has had a profound impact on our organization.
